You often find that you ask “why” to a lot of external factors, but very rarely do you ask that of yourself.
As you begin to answer these questions, you realise that it is not the external factors that bring joy, happiness, guilt and sadness, it is about understanding your own values, your inner feelings and vibrations.
It is about your self-talk. The conversation you have with yourself when no one is around. The constant thoughts you have.
It’s about giving your mind the room it needs to grow and expand. It is about taking a look at the things that have worked for you and being open to other ways that might work.
Health and confidence go hand in hand. They perpetuate one another, and one leads to the other. The problem can be where to start. It’s easy to say “If my health was better I would feel better about myself,” but that is a mistaken belief. The truth is, if you feel good about yourself and have confidence in your own abilities, you will find it easier to set realistic physical goals, and stick with them. In turn, recognising and celebrating your achievements along the way will increase your energy level, super boosting your confidence at being able to meet your next goal.
